Innovate by offering new products

Dexia’s range of “green” products is expanded regularly with Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) vehicles like “Dexia Equities L Sustainable Emerging Markets”, ”Dexia Click Invest B Climate Change” and “DFN Green Note”, a structured issue. Our ability to innovate is fuelled by a regular watch on technology and by organising seminars for reflexion and exchange of information (on the model of the “One day sustainable” in Belgium).

Internally Dexia has set up a monthly sustainable development committee dealing with retail banking, insurance and fund management to improve sharing of entities’ good practices. Externally publicity campaigns are highlighting our sustainable investment products. To consolidate our position, an ad hoc unit has been formed within private banking, working with specialist outside partners. Dexia intends to develop a “philanthropy counselling” unit.
